Free event will feature panel discussion on e-commerce and international trade and give entrepreneurs and professionals networking opportunities.

Import Export Center invites all entrepreneurs and import-export professionals in the New York Metropolitan area to attend its forum on April 9, 2013 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the KITA (Korea International Trade Association) New York conference room. This special networking event, being called the “E-Commerce and International Trade Forum” will feature an hour-long panel discussion with top industry speakers followed by a networking session that gives attendees the chance to meet and exchange ideas and resources with other professionals.

“Manufacturers are really beginning to realize the important role e-commerce plays in helping them export their products to the global marketplace,” said Jayden Lee, Managing Director at InsightLab Pacific and organizer of Import Export Center forums. “Hopefully, this event can help companies find the best e-commerce solutions and utilize them to do their international marketing more effectively.”

The event features top speakers and industry professionals. The forum will be moderated by Eugene Reyes (Adjunct Professor in International Trade at Baruch College) and panelists include Melissa McGraw (CEO/Creative Director at Fashion Potential and Adjunct Professor at Fashion Institute of Technology), Tim Luscher (Chief Merchandising Officer at LOOK–www.lookboard.com), and Luisella Basso (Director of International Trade and Customs Compliance, FiftyOne Global Ecommerce).
